1. Preheat oven to 350°.
2. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt together.
3. In a seperate bowl cream butter, sugar, and vanilla. add egg and beat until fluffy.
4. Slowly add in dry ingredients. once they are added blend in milk.
5. Drop by tablespoon on increased cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes.
