You can have Christmas shortbread using 4 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you cook it.
Ingredients of Christmas shortbread
- You need 150 g of butter.
- You need 250 g of caster sugar.
- It's 400 g of plain flour.
- You need 2 tbsp of honey.
To make the Christmas tree shapes we used a large tree cookie cutter. Make sure you cut a bottom and a top biscuit. The holidays are definitely made for baking. These Shortbread Christmas Cookies are easy to make and only require a few simple ingredients!
Christmas shortbread step by step
- Melt your butter in the micro whilst measuring out your dry ingredients.
- Mix melted butter into sugar.
- Slowly add the flour and mix until one firm piece. Add your honey.
- Bam, get that dough on the worktop with a bit of flour and squish to 1cm thick.
- Cut into desired shapes.
- Pop in the middle of a preheated oven at 140°c until slightly brown on edges and slightly squidgey in the middle sprinkle a little sugar and enjoy!.
