Finally I decided to go back to my pantry and sort out when I just found out my bits and kiddy extras. Thinking of how I could make use of them is when I came up with this crazy idea. Of course chocolates are any time a coarse to die for. I used my left over oreos to stir in with my well blended cookies. More the oreos more fun..

Preheat oven to 180 degrees C..
In a large, microwave-safe bowl melt the butter, about 1 minute on high power..
Add the egg, brown sugar, vanilla, and whisk until smooth..
Add the flour and stir until just combined, don't overmix..
Stir in the Oreos..
Turn batter out into prepared pan, smoothing the top lightly with a spatula..
