- It's 1 Cup of Milk.
- Prepare 22-25 of Oreo Biscuits.
- Prepare 1/2 Tsp of Eno Fruit Salt.
Oreo Cake Shots step by step
- Separate the cream and biscuit..
- Keep both of them in separate bowls..
- Powder the biscuits in a mixer grinder..
- Add 3/4th cup milk gradually in biscuit powder and whisk until it gains ribbon like consistency..
- Once you attain, nice cake consistency as explained above, add eno fruit salt and mix..
- Now grease the cake tin with butter and line a butter paper and grease it too..
- Now pour in the batter and tap lightly to remove air bubbles if any..
- Now take a heavy bottom base wok, grease it lightly..
- Put a low height steel stand inside it..
- Place the cake tin on top of it..
- Cover with plate. If plate is light weighted then keep something on top to give pressure..
- Basically heat should be maintained inside and no air should be passed..
- Now bake on high burner with low flame for 10 minutes and then at medium flame for 5 minutes..
- Check with tooth pick. if it comes clean then cake is properly done else cook for more minutes..
- Leave the cake inside the wok for 5 minutes after the cake is done..
- Now carefully flip on plate and let it cool..
- Meanwhile prepare icing by adding little warm milk in the biscuit cream which we kept aside..
- Whisk nicely to make smooth icing like texture..
- Hand whisking will take 15-20 minutes and electric beater will take hardly 5 minutes..
- You can add a teaspoon of cream to it if you want for more smooth texture. This is optional..
- Now remove the butter paper from cake once it cools down..
- Cut in half and make layers..
- Spread icing on it and cover back with other slice..
- Now cake is ready. Cut in desired shapes or serve as it is !.
